I thought about it too but there is a problem, I think you must use a special type of drive/cable. O googled and got this linke http://forum.notebookreview.com/sony/511578-how-replace-ssd-vaio-vpcz11-vpcz12-non-sony-ssd.html I think it should help you.

Hi there, I’ve got the same set up as you, i.e. sata drive with no dvd. How would I go about installing a ssd in addition to the sata drive so that I can have windows and programs on the ssd drive and documents etc on the sata?

Hi,

I have tested it and it still works, what I suspect is the facebook users are starting to use HTTPS sessions and squid cannot block them by default. You would need to somehow block secure https sessions from accessing that URL. That becomes much harder.

should need to install, if yes then what should be the order`?
i wanted to talk on my emulator and its been so long coudnt find the solution :S please help, i always get error(Missing_Shared_library) when i tried to install gtalkservice.apk , dont know which library is missing,scraching my head for so long. thanks in adnavce

Hi there,

I have the same problem with the service. I sent my VGN-G!! to repair the case, it was broken by the mouse pad area, and a couple of weeks later, the screen was getting loose. I call them back and they said that I would have to pay to have that repaired. I couldn’t understand, they clearly were responsible for the issue, why should I pay for it?

Finally I got it to my local computer repairs corner shop, the guy open it, tied the screws and charged me a couple of pounds.

Since them I do it myself like once every two weeks.

I love my G11 but never ever will buy Sony again thanks to their support service.

I also remember that the guy that called me to tell me that they will charge me for this, didn’t sound friendly at all.

Have you enabled “Command Support” on the boot image?

if so, press f8 when you get a failure and then ping the server also check network is working etc.

If you want you can pastebin.com the log and I can take a look?
